Refseq accession number and version number in Funcotator
AnsweredI used Funcotator to annotate my VCF (somatic variant calling) and worked great.
Now I have to find the correct RefSeq number and version number of the reference sequence used to annotate variants. Where can I find the RefSeq information which is built into Funcotator and its resource package?
Thank you

Thank you so much for your comment. Do you have any updates on this topic?
Funcotator appears to give RefSeq ID to annotate variants but it lacks version numbers ( .x)
The funcotator resources version I used is:
Version: 1.7.20200429s
Could someone help me find this information?

TMB I don't have any updates yet, we're a bit behind getting through the posts because I was out sick last week. I'll let you know when we are able to take a look!

Hi TMB,
All the version numbers for the built in data sources are written into the header. It's a long line in the header that has this information, starting with ##Funcotator Version=. Let me know if this is not what you were looking for.
Best,
Genevieve
