Updating Picard to latest version

Before asking for help with specific errors I'd like to update the version of Picard I'm using to the most recent. Is this possible to do without completely deleting and reinstalling the Program?

Hi Stephen Johnson,

There's not a quick way to do this other than downloading the newest version of Picard. We will be implementing the newest Picard version in our next GATK release, which is planned for this week: https://github.com/broadinstitute/gatk/pull/7255. The easiest way I've found for switching between versions is using GATK on Docker: (How to) Run GATK in a Docker container
