I am facing some forensic samples, which is a mixture of two or more human blood or other DNA material.
Since it is not a 1:1 or 1:1:1 mixture, setting
ploidy to 4 or 6 seems not right.
Mutect2 requires comparing a PON and a mixture, but it is not good to rely on other samples.
Is there a way to calculate the confidence of how many most abundance bases are supposed to exists on each site ?
Like, given the bases on one site is A,B,C,D, which are sorted by abundance. Test the confidence of pure A or AB or ABC or ABCD.
