Do GATK tools support Apple silicon?

I need to purchase a new laptop. I want to upgrade to a many-cored Mac with the new Apple silicon chips for parallelism, speed, and reduced power consumption. This is especially attractive for variant calling.

However, I don't know if HaplotypeCaller will run on M1/M2 chips. Some people were warning about Intel-specific optimization:

Which GATK tools have been tested for compatibility with Apple silicon? It would be great to see a matrix.
