Running Cromwell on IBM Cloud
IBM Cloud (formerly called IBM Bluemix and IBM SoftLayer) is a public cloud computing platform for a variety of enterprise applications.
IBM Cloud offers automation tools for deploying an LSF cluster with NFS or GPFS pre-installed. These clusters can be used to install and run Cromwell, onto which GATK pipelines can be run.
Visit this link for more information about GATK on LSF on IBM Cloud, and visit the the following IBM documentation for more information about deploying an LSF Cluster.
Kubernetes Backend for Cromwell
The Kubernetes backend for Cromwell permits GATK jobs to be stored and scheduled on Kubernetes-based clusters. Workflow tasks are defined in WDL files to be run as a separate job. The complete code for the backend is available at the following GitHub repository.
