So you're going to a GATK workshop? Fantastic! We're looking forward to guiding you through some exercises that will help you master the tools. However -- in order to make the best of the time we have together, we'd like to ask you to come prepared. Specifically, unless the workshop hosts are providing computers, you MUST follow these instructions. That will provide you step by step instructions for getting your computer set up with the necessary software, data and all workshop materials you will need (including presentation slides).

The bundle will include links to PDFs that contain all the instructions we will give you during the session to help you follow along. We strongly recommend bringing a notebook and pen for writing notes as you work through the exercises. We usually do not distribute paper copies of the instructions in order to avoid wasting paper.
